Coral Thomas is used to thinking big. Having worked in the power-generation industry and for a worldwide engineering company, she understands business on a grand scale. Today, Coral imparts the knowledge and experience gained from administrating wind farms and power stations to small businesses on the Sunshine Coast.
During a 20-year career, Coral has worked in most areas of business, including human resources, payroll, purchasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general finance, contract co-ordination, budgeting, cash flow and bookkeeping. Coral’s broad experience gives her a unique insight into systems and shortcuts that can make your business easier.
Although Coral has worked for large corporations, she is switched on to the challenges facing small-to-medium enterprises. She says, “It can be difficult for a small-business owner to be involved in the administration and finance areas of the business as well as working at the business itself.”
