All my working life I have enjoyed being a Bookkeeper. I have progressed from ruling lines in a ledger at the end of a month to computers that make entries disappear and produce figures automatically. My work experience has taken me into Property Management, Hotel Licensee, Office Cleaning Owner, and Office Administrator for an Australian Construction Company. All these positions required my bookkeeping knowledge.
As a small business owner, for many years, the introduction and importance of correctly reporting the GST and the BAS would have been a headache had it not been for my bookkeeping experience.

My interests have varied over the years but at present, I ride with the Southern Cross Motor Bike Club and for the past 14 years, I have been the bookkeeper for Volunteering North Queensland. After seeing most of Australia I have traveled overseas to four countries to see their culture, and sample their food and on my return, I am always reminded of how lucky I am to be an Australian.
