Our job is to take the pressure off you and to tackle the paper war, the form filling and the bureaucratic red tape. We make sure your books are tax-ready and presented clearly for your accountant at the end of the financial year, while your off making money - or going fishing! We can even take care of your payroll. We'll also teach you how to make sense of the reports we give you so you'll be able to make the right decisions about what to spend, where to tighten your belt and when to invest in your business. We are business problem solvers as well as bookkeepers and we work at improving and expanding our services to offer a variety of business solutions for a range of issues. Qualifications for Kelly
Kelly has completed a Diploma of Business (Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) with a Practicing Certificate. For 15 years she worked as an Assistant Accountant and Bookkeeper for a National Supermarket and an International Transport company.
Qualifications for Lisa
Lisa has certificates in Business Administration and Finance (Insurance). She has valuable management, marketing & sales experience and practical skills in a variety of industries including Event Management, Hospitality, Production, Retail, Building, Processing and Customer Service.
How We Work
We do not replace your accountant - they have special skills that we don't claim to possess. Rather we work with them to help you achieve your business goals.
During the first consultation, we spend time talking with you to try and fully understand the unique aspects of your business and what you are trying to achieve. This is free.
We generally do not work on an hourly or daily billing rate, but instead, we try to fix a fee according to the specific tasks to be performed. (Most of our clients prefer a fixed fee because there is a cap on their investment - they always know exactly what they're spending so there are no surprises when the bill arrives).
When a client hires us they can expect a high-quality, professional service. We can help with setting up a new business, developing a business chart of accounts, transaction processing, profit and loss reporting, payroll administration and many other tasks related to running your business. We can use and provide training in various software packages for yourself or your staff. We are also fortunate to be able to offer other services such as secure online data storage and/or file transfers and online accounting packages to assist business owners in getting out of the office as well as having access to an international payroll service. All are designed to help your business thrive.
