With nearly forty years of banking experience and many years of involvement in financial matters, Ray has used his knowledge and experience to help small business owners, primary schools, churches, masonic lodges, youth groups and sporting organisations. Ray has been helping people manage their money for a long time.
Starting up a bookkeeping business was a logical extension for someone who loves to interact with people and who took an accounting degree part time for fun! His passion for quality, accuracy and customer service is another reason why he became a bookkeeper. He takes pride and pleasure in working with his son, Simon, who aspires to be a great bookkeeper and small business owner.
He greatly enjoys the thrill of learning about each small business and helping the owner to focus on the important things – like growing their business and spending more time with their family. Every business has different financial control needs and Ray has the talents to adapt and best serve the business owner by helping to alleviate a great deal of the drudgery of paperwork.
Ray is a long term resident of Ringwood. One of his great joys is serving the youth of Australia by his volunteer work as a member of the Australian Air League (an independent uniformed cadet organisation) as their National Finance Commissioner.
Ray has had extensive experience with MYOB over a number of years and is familiar with Quicken and various web based software applications.
