Jacob is a registered BAS agent and a qualified CPA accountant with a substantial social work background. Originally from Hong Kong, he has lived in Melbourne for over 30 years. In November 2020, he launched his bookkeeping franchise with Jim's Bookkeeping.

 

Specialising in small businesses, not-for-profit organisations, and clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, the focus is on supporting clients in adopting the right technology to enhance efficiency in bookkeeping and financial operations.

 

Jacob has extensive experience as an executive manager in social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations, overseeing finance, IT, and HR functions. Additionally, he ran a small professional service in migration advice and counselling for over 15 years alongside full-time employment. He currently provides finance management advice to a select number of not-for-profit organisations on a pro bono basis.
